Dr. Dean Azzeh frequently works with patients who have severe malocclusions (bad bites) and cleft palate issues that cannot be treated with orthodontic care alone. Therefore, many of our patients are referred for combined orthodontic and orthognathic, which means ‘changing jaws’, care. Orthognathic care is an interdisciplinary effort between Dr. Dean Azzeh and an oral surgeon.

For our combined care patients, we know this can be an overwhelming, even frightening, time. We will provide you with information on the types of procedures we consider necessary for your treatment, but we understand that the information you’re asked to take in is complex and perhaps mysterious. Please be assured that we won’t be satisfied until all your questions have been answered and there are no mysteries about your surgical treatment.
